Of course there are modern and more advanced CD players that can now save your location when you turn off your car, thereby allowing you to resume at the exact same spot you left off.

Four, because audio books are mainly just narration, many users don't see why they should spend the extra money to buy CDs because of issues of recording quality when they can get near enough the same quality with audiocassettes.

These films are no doubt part of American Cinema at it's best!
I grew up watching these movies and even today when I sit back and watch them, I appreciate them even more as if it's my first time tunning in.
The locations, the acting, the screenplay all work perfectly. I don't think there are words left to describe how amazing this collection is on DVD.
I heard George Lucas is set to release these films on it's own soon, but why bother? Why spend your money on the same thing, even if your going to get some new bonus features. It's not like your getting a brand new movie.
I would recommend to wait until the 4th installment hits DVD shelves, then maybe it would be worth a purchase if it gets released into the box set. Till then...this collection is timeless!

This series is just beautiful to look at and educational also. Occasionally the narration jumps locations fast enough that by the time you figure out where in the world you are, you jump again. Feist is the solo project of Canada's Leslie Feist, a prolific artist who has also played in one capacity or another with Broken Social Scene, Kings of Convenience and half a dozen other bands. The Reminder, her third release, comes from the same well of quiet, appealing songwriting, and delicate vocalizations that made 2004's Let It Die such a sweet treat. This one is a bit more hushed and ballad heavy, closer to Cat Power than Peaches (with whom Feist has also worked with in the past) but maintains an indie-minded blend of confessional pop, jazzy folk, and lo-fi torch songs. The comparatively upbeat single "My Moon My Man" splits her voice off into unexpected harmonies, just dissonant enough to stick in your head. It's hard to predict where her melodies are going to end up; "Brandy Alexander" starts with a simple snap-pulse, and gradually unfolds into a cathartic chorus of sweeping vocal overlays. Throughout, the record profits from a simple, unfussy aesthetic that keeps the production minimal and the emphasis squarely on Feist's cracking, wistful vibrato. Everything sounds deliberate, but not obsessed over, like an e-mailed wedding invitation. It's a low-pressure vibe, welcoming and content to linger. And linger you will. --Matthew Cooke

This is an interesting album by Feist. "1234" is the highlight of this disc. It is a fun song that makes me feel good. "Brandy Alexander" is a song about a love for a cocktail drink. I love the piano playing and her vocals on this track. "My Moon My Man" is a groovy track with a good beat. She takes the Nina Simone tune "Sea Lion" and makes it her own. She rocks on the guitar on this track. "So Sorry" is a beautiful song with a romantic tone. "Past In Present" is another pleasant upbeat track. "I Feel It All" is a track with good musical arrangements. I love all the percussion instruments on this track. "The Park" is a very soothing sounding track. There is something about her guitar playing that puts my mind at ease on this track. This is a very enjoyable disc from Feist.

The series is as good as it gets. Video is stunning with many unique video that has never been seen. HD is absolutely beautiful, makes you feel like you are there. Would highly recommend.

This series is just beautiful to look at and educational also. Occasionally the narration jumps locations fast enough that by the time you figure out where in the world you are, you jump again. It has the splendor of an IMAX, and can breed the same sort of hopelessness also. What a wonderful world we live in!

Feist is the solo project of Canada's Leslie Feist, a prolific artist who has also played in one capacity or another with Broken Social Scene, Kings of Convenience and half a dozen other bands. The Reminder, her third release, comes from the same well of quiet, appealing songwriting, and delicate vocalizations that made 2004's Let It Die such a sweet treat. This one is a bit more hushed and ballad heavy, closer to Cat Power than Peaches (with whom Feist has also worked with in the past) but maintains an indie-minded blend of confessional pop, jazzy folk, and lo-fi torch songs. The comparatively upbeat single "My Moon My Man" splits her voice off into unexpected harmonies, just dissonant enough to stick in your head. It's hard to predict where her melodies are going to end up; "Brandy Alexander" starts with a simple snap-pulse, and gradually unfolds into a cathartic chorus of sweeping vocal overlays. Throughout, the record profits from a simple, unfussy aesthetic that keeps the production minimal and the emphasis squarely on Feist's cracking, wistful vibrato. Everything sounds deliberate, but not obsessed over, like an e-mailed wedding invitation. It's a low-pressure vibe, welcoming and content to linger. And linger you will. --Matthew Cooke
Customer Review: I love the music of Feist
This is an interesting album by Feist. "1234" is the highlight of this disc. It is a fun song that makes me feel good. "Brandy Alexander" is a song about a love for a cocktail drink. I love the piano playing and her vocals on this track. "My Moon My Man" is a groovy track with a good beat. She takes the Nina Simone tune "Sea Lion" and makes it her own. She rocks on the guitar on this track. "So Sorry" is a beautiful song with a romantic tone. "Past In Present" is another pleasant upbeat track. "I Feel It All" is a track with good musical arrangements. I love all the percussion instruments on this track. "The Park" is a very soothing sounding track. There is something about her guitar playing that puts my mind at ease on this track. This is a very enjoyable disc from Feist.

When I was a young boy, my uncle Nick taught me the value of reading good books. According to him ?reading good books it can help and motivate you to attain the heights of extra-ordinary success like the story of the ordinary men in the world who became great leaders, great thinkers, and great writers.? Since then, I encouraged and motivated myself the value of reading books. And now, I have found out that reading good book, it?s really a good amusement that can help the young mind like mine to dream towards the higher goal of life on how to conquer the impossible things!
The great philosopher of the 17th Century Rene Descartes, once says, ?Reading all the good books is like a conversation with the finest authors of the past centuries.?
Brian Tracy, the author of the book ?Psychology of Success? commented, ?I have books that I have read 10 or 20 times and that look like rainbows from page to page. They are literally covered with all kinds of colors and marks. Needless to say, the information and ideas in those books has soaked so deeply into my psyche that I can recite much of the material in my dreams.?
I still recall the great Jim Rohn once says, ?People from all walks of life, people with some of the most incredible life experiences, people that have gone from pennies to fortune and from failure to success have taken the time to write down their experiences so that we might share in their wealth of knowledge. They have offered their wisdom and experience so that we can be inspired by it and instructed by it, and so that we can amend our philosophy by it. I still remember Charles Darwin words ?Survival to the fittest.? It?s really true! Life is full of challenges. Everyone who wants to compete in the battles and games of life, He should encourage and motivate himself to goes into strict training, self-discipline, continuing polishing of his attitude and character. He should also encourage and teach himself to continue feeding his mind with the fresh knowledge and wisdom enable not to disqualify in any games of life.

Several years ago the Internet opened up for book sales in a big way with the launch of Amazon.com. About the same time, Abebooks.com started a marketplace for the sellers of used books to make their
inventories available worldwide. Since then, an abundance of marketplaces have sprung up and there is no sign of the industry settling any time soon.
As a buyer of new and/or used books, you have many options available to you that didn't exist until recently. Historically, if you wanted a book you had to go to your local bookstore and college students had to buy all of their textbooks from their university bookstore. If your local bookstore did not have the book you wanted your only option was to order it and wait several months for it to arrive, and college students were at a real disadvantage if their university bookstore ran out of stock. Now, in most cases, the solution is as close as the nearest computer, and the book can usually be had within a few days, but for the uninformed Internet buyer, they will still be paying a premium price because they will only be looking for their book at the most popular marketplaces and passing up other marketplaces.
How do I know this? Because I have been an online bookseller for the past five years and have spent a lot of time researching the various marketplaces and the price variations among them. Since I am also an engineer and have a son working on his engineering doctorate right now, I am also keenly aware of the cost of college textbooks, particularly in the sciences. In fact, I coach online booksellers to be successful in their businesses, so I have to stay on top of the marketplace changes to know how to best react from a business standpoint.
Still, I have been surprised by the relatively small number of book buyers taking an interest in the seller end of the business. In almost every other consumer related business that I have ever been involved in, there were always consumers that wanted to completely understand how the sellers performed their business so that as consumers they would be able to buy at lower costs. This particularly baffles me where college students are concerned because they are the consumers of some of the most expensive books in the marketplaces, and it baffles me from two angles. First, it would seem that with relatively low wage incomes they would be interested in saving as much as possible on their textbook purchases, and secondly, most college students sell their unwanted textbooks at the end of the course and I would think they would want to get the most they could for them. Peripherally, I have to wonder why more college students are not more interested in making an income as online booksellers because they are already in one of the best positions for finding good books to sell. The only thing that allows me to rationalize them not getting into online bookselling is that they are
still students for a reason or they prefer flipping burgers for minimum wage.
Regardless, I really want to emphasize that if you are a consumer of books and find yourself buying the latest and greatest novel from your local chain bookstore, you really should investigate online bookselling from a seller's standpoint. If you understand how sellers operate online, you can save yourself hundreds of dollars every year. If you are a college student, you should be even more interested because the potential savings for you could be thousands of dollars every year and you just might be able to sell your unwanted textbooks for a profit when you finish with them.
The things an online bookseller knows about the marketplaces can be used by an online buyer as well, but only the ambitious are going to take the steps to optimize the scenario for themselves.
