Why Were Ebooks Developed Anyway?
According to the Joint Study of section 1201(g) of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act the ebook was advanced to "facilitate the robust development and world-wide expansion of electronic commerce, communications, research, development, and education in the digital age."
In essence this document points to the fact that the ebook as we are seeing it today was designed as a means of deriving profit, facilitating an exchange of ideas, and providing an educational resource in an electronic environment.
The notable exception to this description is the word ?marketing?. What many may not have considered at the time the Digital Millennium Copyright Act was written was the incredibly large opportunities for business to market their products or services utilizing ebook technology.
More and more savvy business owners are discovering that individuals are very interested in knowledge-based content. You can find ebooks designed to assist you in maximizing online auction sales while other ebooks may be filled with how-to information on a variety of issues including home improvement and gardening.
The possibilities are limitless, but the growth of ebooks as a marketing tool is not to be underestimated.
Some of the primary selling tools for ebooks is?
* Instant access following purchase
* Portability
* Reduced cost
* No sales tax
* Delivered by pdf making it universally downloadable.
Today you will find websites dedicated to ebook marketing. Interestingly many of these sites use ebooks to market their ebook marketing program. I suppose this is a case of a company following their own advice. After all, if there is a way to market using ebooks what better tool to let people know about it than an ebook download?
You will also find an increasing number of ebooks being distributed that deal specifically with marketing in general. While there are certainly a growing number of fictional titles available in ebook downloads, the truth is the knowledge-based ebook is, in many ways, dominating available titles.
The category of ebooks has also opened the doors to many writers who have found traditional publishing routes to be a bit difficult to navigate. The development of ebooks can be learned and implemented quickly with the bulk of the profit returning to the author.
As we look back at the original development statement of the ebook there may be a link to marketing after all. Pay attention to these words, ?facilitate the robust development and world-wide expansion of electronic commerce?.
Hmmmmm, it sounds like marketing to me.

Customer Review: Little data, lots of space, only good to hit batters
When I was told I could have this game I was pumped. When I loaded the game and saved my data, it took 3000 kb for rosters, profile, and dynasty. That and it was hard to play without setting everything good and taking about 750 kb. The only way to set the ball in the strike zone is to try and pitch it high. My way of hitting is to just swing and see what happens. Hitting was fairly easy, and playing on easy, I was losing 19-1 in the 3rd. My favorite part of the game is to......... hit batters with fastballs. So overall, 2 over 5.
Customer Review: MLB 06 The Show
Great MLB game for the ps2. Easy to pitch, field, steal, and bat. Has a ton of different modes of play. A lot of editors have given MLB 06 The Show a better rating than MLB 07. Do the research it's a great game.

Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift
Three years ago, a 13-year old Taylor Swift set out to be a star and moved from Reading, Pennsylvania, to Nashville. By 14, she had a publishing deal, and by 15, a recording contract. In these days of Bianca Ryan (and before her, Tanya Tucker and LeAnn Rimes), many are called, but few are chosen. Swift, it appears, is one of the chosen ones. Her vocal talent is modest, though sweetly affecting, her style seemingly influenced by the radio hits of early Sheryl Crow and Michelle Branch, and perhaps Cyndi Thomson. And at times, her youthfulness shows--she encoded messages in the lyrics of her CD booklet, starting with the name of the boy who cheated on her from "Should've Said No" (the album's strongest offering). But in writing or co-writing all 11 songs on this debut, Swift demonstrates remarkable maturity, particularly in crafting a hooky, radio-ready chorus. Though she sounds ridiculous looking back from the perspective of an 87-year old woman on "Mary's Song," to her credit she mostly writes about what she knows--unrequited high-school crushes ("Teardrops on My Guitar"), teenage angst ("Tied Together with a Smile"), and complete immersion in starry-eyed romance (her breakout hit "Tim McGraw"). Swift has such wistful charm and tunefulness that only a curmudgeon could dismiss her, and in fact, more than 60,000 fans lined up to grab this CD the first month of release. No wonder Rascal Flatts and George Strait added her to their tours. Look out, Carrie Underwood--there's a new kid in town. --Alanna Nash

Did old folks know that Taylor Swift wasn't an American Idol Star? She started singing when she was fourteen. Taylor Swift put her first album out called Taylor Swift,she also put this album out in 2006.This cd includes the songs "Our Song", Picture to Burn", and "Mary's Song". This cd is mainly about her break ups with her boyfriends. Big Machine Records is the label company. Taylor Swift is a country singer, and her cd, Taylor Swift costs $9.99. This cd is a great cd as long as people out there like Country music.

Taylor Swift
I loved the Taylor Swift CD. She is my favorite singer. I used to not have a favorite but after listening to this CD I have finally figured it out. I would give this CD a 5. The reason that I give it a 5 is because I think anyone would love the songs on it. But anyone who listened to this CD would have to love Country. She has 13 songs on this CD and these are the names :{ these are not in order} 1. Tim McGraw 2.Picture to burn 3. Cold as you 4. A place in this world 5. Teardrops on my guitar 6. The outside 7. Tied together with a smile 8. Stay beautiful 9. Should v said no 10. Mary song 11. Our song
All of her songs are about boys. Either she has a crush on some boy or a boy doesn't notice her. Mostly about some boy she likes.
Taylor Swift is a great singer I don't care what anyone says. What I like about her is her music is also interesting if I don't like the words then I listen to the music. That's when I really start to like it. The music just gets me into the song then the words come to me, it's amazing! She's amazing!
Lion King
Lion King
Not an ideal choice for younger kids, this hip and violent animated feature from Disney was nevertheless a huge smash in theaters and on video, and it continues to enjoy life in an acclaimed Broadway production. The story finds a lion cub, son of a king, sent into exile after his father is sabotaged by a rivalrous uncle. The little hero finds his way into the "circle of life" with some new friends and eventually comes back to reclaim his proper place. Characters are very strong, vocal performances by the likes of Jeremy Irons, Nathan Lane, and Whoopi Goldberg are terrific, the jokes are aimed as much (if not more) at adults than kids, the animation is sometimes breathtaking, and the music is more palatable than in many Disney features. But be cautious: this is too intense for the Rugrat crowd. --Tom Keogh
Customer Review: Disney...Greedy Genius
Ok, I love Disney. I am a 22 year-old male. I have no shame about the fact that I love these movies. They were a part of my childhood, so now I am buying them. It's just too bad I can't buy the Lion King brand-new because of that STUPID vault!!! Sure, Disney has some genius minds that realize if they withhold something, people will pay more for it. But do they really need to? If my company had the money and assets like Disney does (considering they own ESPN) i believe that i would not lock up my greatest films just so I can sell them for 30 or 40 dollars five years from now. True, it's a smart move but it makes some of the fans resent them. I just wanna buy The Lion King.
Customer Review: Lion King
I recently purchased this item from gassga568105 and not only did the product arrive promptly, but the quality of the movie was great. The Lion King is a Disney classic with memorable characters and art. I recommend this movie for anyone with children or adults interested in Disney cartoons.
